On Mondays, we used to share fun content with you all about the Moonshine Mollys. Then everybody got so busy and now it has been far too long since there has been a MOLLY MONDAY! We invite you to join us and enjoy details about our influences in music and what the band is up to. Today, we will start with a sweet destination to visit if you ever get the chance. Loretta Lynn’s home in the Hollar would have to be at the top of that list if you are visiting KENTUCKY! A definite must.

At the bottom of the page there is a link to a great article with some very great reasons for me, Cassandra to go to Kentucky! Just saying! They tagline for their state is “Unbridled Spirit!” Any excuse to dive into to GOOD ‘OL COUNTRY MUSIC.  It is truly THE best. Click the link at the top or bottom once you are done readying and check it out. As far back as I can remember, I have loved country music. Yes, there also was Michael Jackson, and the hair bands of my teens, Poison and Bon Jovi! I loved, I should say love them. I mean when a song comes on you go right back to high school, just like that. I was born and raised in the Canadian Prairies, on a farm in Saskatchewan and spent a lot of time at my grandparent’s big wheat and cattle farm in Manitoba. There is nothing better to me then old style country music and bluegrass. Some of my favourites are Allison Krauss, Vince Gill, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn. I feel like I can relate to it better than anything. At Indie Entertainment, we have a group of fine women who at The First Ladies of Country, where we do a tribute to country greats such as, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Crystal Gayle, Linda Ronstadt and Wynonna Judd. And, Patsy Cline may be added to the show line up very soon. Keep you fingers crossed!

For my love of COUNTRY, I have been working my fingers on my banjo lately as well, but nothing I can share until I am smoother on that baby. I have really working on vocals & harmonies with my lady, Breanna Nixon. We are looking forward to sharing our hard work with you all sometime in the Spring Summer 2019! You will just have to follow us for updates.
